On July 19, 64 AD, Rome began to burn and continued burning until July 26 during the reign of emperor Nero. Known as the Great Fire of Rome, it ravaged Rome, destroying 70 percent of the city and leaving half its population homeless. Despite the frequently told stories, there is no definitive proof that Nero, either started the fire or played the fiddle (or lyre) while it burned. Still, it is undisputed he used the disaster to further his own aspirations and political agenda. Nero’s majestic series of villas and pavilions built on a landscaped park and a man-made lake, was built in the wake of the fire. Never let a good crisis go to waste.
Unlike the rumor and innuendo surrounding Nero, we have ample evidence of the culpability of our political leaders in burning down our nation, both literally and figuratively. The riots of 2020 that burned in Minneapolis, Portland and other cities at the hands of Antifa and Black Lives Matter were supported and funded by Left Wing Democrats who even raised funds for bail money as the cities burned.
As Townhall’s Katie Pavlich reported at the time, Kamala Harris (who became Biden’s running mate and eventual Vice-President) helped bail out criminals burning down American cities.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez famously said, “The whole point of protesting is to make people uncomfortable. Activists take that discomfort with the status quo and advocate for concrete policy changes… To folks who complain protest demands make others uncomfortable… that’s the point.”
And now, as of 2022 and a full year into the reign of Joe Biden, we are seeing the destruction of the fabric of our nation and culture in way never before seen in my lifetime.
• Americans were abandoned in Afghanistan
• Inflation is is at a 40 year high in February, 2022
• The US is no longer energy independent with the Keystone pipeline being shut down to boot
• COVID restrictions, lockdowns, vaccine mandates and other measures have ravaged the economy
• US Foreign Policy is a joke and Russia has invaded the Ukraine
• Government spending is astronomical with social programs
• Woke culture, gender activism and racial tensions are dividing the country to the breaking point
I cannot comprehend how Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were ushered into the White House.
It is inconceivable to me that they were legitimately elected, as he is mentally impaired and she is despised by everyone.
But it is equally incomprehensible that those two would have been hand picked and installed by a Deep State Cabal. They are just too inept and incompetent.
I realize a large portion of the country was uncomfortable with Trump as president, and God knows he was not perfect by any measure, but comparing where we are today with where we were 2 or 3 years ago is like comparing heaven and hell. 🔥
That said, I don’t believe the elections of 2020 were legitimate at all.
Not the Presidential election.
Not the Georgia Senate elections.
God help us with the 2022 mid-term elections and the 2024 Presidential election.
